Question my 1st KIT - to sell? or a freebie ?

im almost done with my very first kit! wooohoooo

i got my color story from a paint sample card at Home Depot... and felt inspired immediately....

i have spent countless hours on it...

i have read a zillion tutorials on how to do all the techniques i used....thanks to the digital yahoo group i was referred to from here and all the tutorials HERE

and i actually think it looks pretty good im pretty proud of myself

i just dont know what to do w/ it now...do i try and sell it and how? or do i upload it here as a freebie to subscribers?

could maybe one of the designers here PM me, and I can send them a preview for their opinion?

I would love to see it just send me a pm to a link.
I personally would recommend putting your work into the free downloads section first. But you certainly do not HAVE to do this. I just think it is a great way to get your name out there, plus there is the opportunity to see what kind of a response your work gets from comments posted. But anyway, if you want to sell somewhere, I would work on a couple more kits, then start checking out digital stores and emailing to see if they are accepting new designers. Do some research to see how well people are selling in the store if at all possible. Those are just a few recommendations I have
So pm me and let me see that kit!

ashley gave you some great advice that i agree with i gave my first two kits away free and i think it really helps to do that, and was a great boost of confidence to see all of the wonderful comments that were left about them if you'd pm me, i'd also like to see it, if you don't mind! and congratulations, it's a lot of work to finish a kit, and you should be proud!

I agree, great advice Ashley! I also gave away my first two kits here and it was so much fun to see everyone use your stuff, plus it is just really good practice.
