Difference between PSP8 & Studio?

I have PSP 8 (and 9) on my home computer. The computer that we just bought for the office from Dell came with PSP Studio. What is the difference? What "can't" I do with studio?

I just did a search on PSP Studio, and it seems it is a scaled down version of PSP9. Sounds like it would be a step backwards for you.

Specifically what you can't do in Studio are masks. Not sure what else.

well I played with it today - it is just the basics ... I was able to make a simple page but I definately would not buy this program. Definately a step back from what I am used to using at home.

Although I did love how fast I was able to scrap with this new computer - gotta love RAM

Enjoy the new PC.. although you aren't seeing the speed increase because of the RAM.. its really because your HD is new and not filled with tons of junk.

Try not to fill it with tons of installed Fonts/ addons and other things that will slow it down when loading programs and booting.

Inevitbaly though... it will start to slow down and feel sluggish again. Enjoy it for now!

I did upgrade my RAM from 512 to 1.5, and it did seem to make a difference, PSP9 not running so pokey. That was the only difference. I do also do the above mentioned things, no extra fonts installed, moved my plugins, frames, etc. out of PSP software folders and into their own folders in the program files folder and redirected PSP where to look for them.
