How do you create overlays???? does anyone know of a good tutorial of how to create them?

can you explain what you are trying to do further? Do you mean overlays like in vellum layed over another page underneath? If so, then you accomplish this by adjusting the transparency in your software for the layer that is on top.

What program are you using? Do you mean grungy type overlays or the ones that look like a lot of shapes/curves that you can fill each section with a different paper?
