Just wanted someone to know that we have a widespread power outage in central New York. We are looking at being without power for up to another 12 hours due to high wind damage from a storm that passed through here earlier this evening. My website is up, and orders can be made, but I am on my laptop which only has a 30 minute battery and no access to my site files, so all orders will be filled once power is restored.

Sorry about your power outtage, but I wanted to tell you what we did when we were without power for a few days following hurricane Wilma (and Frances and Jeanne last year) - we have an adapter for the van that we can plug up a video game to and have it run off the car battery. We plugged up our laptops to that to charge the batteries so we could do work on them. The adapters are sold at places like Wal-mart and computer stores and aren't that expensive. If you think you'll be having power problems for a while that will affect your business, check into getting one so you can at least keep your laptop battery charged! Good luck!
