Finding Time

How do you all find the time to do LOs? I have the deep deep desire to do them, even get started, am always jotting down my ideas, but never can find the time to actually sit down and finish anything.

I work full time and have a 19 mos old... is there any hope for me?

When ds is napping, I'm usually cleaning... at night when he's in bed, dh demands my attention... so how do i plan me time?

Quite frankly, I let the housework sit. It's not that important to me - LOL. I scrap while the kids nap.

Same here, I scrap during nap time. However, if you are working full-time this probably doesn't work well for you. Perhaps you could schedule a "Mommy Scrap Time" and dad and child have some quality time together. Plus, the beauty of digital scrapping is that it's easy to save and come back later when you have another 10 minutes. At my house PS is always open.

Lately, I have been having to work long hours at the office, so the only time that I have time to scrap is during my lunch hour - maybe 1-2 times a week. I have a hard time staying up late but I always try to make it to the Wed, late night 2page crop. I love the sketches that Kim provides.

maybe that's my problem... i have to have a somewhat clean house... i want too much, maybe...LOL... but yes, also, seeing that i'm only home during the day on the weekends, and evenings the rest of the time, it's hard to fit it in during the day... I need to start making time at night, i guess.

how much sleep do you all get a night? as it is, I usually only get about 6-7 hrs... definitely can't get less than that... i have to wake up at 5:30 each morning. but since I'm on the west coast, maybe i can do the late night crop, too...

i'm gonna try, especially after knowing that it is possible...

I work full time and have a four-year old. I too have the limitations of not enough time for scrapping. For me, getting up an hour early is my claim to "me" time. I teach school, so I don't have to be at work until 7:30. I get up at 5 and shower and eat and then by 5:30 or so I sit down at the computer (check the times on my blog entries LOL) until about 6:30 when I get the boy up and take him to daycare. I do go to bed around 10pm, so I still get about 7 hours of sleep a night.

I also scrap on weekends when my fishing hubby is out on tournaments. He is a lot less demanding of my time when he is gone. LOL

And I have a laptop, so I can sit and scrap while my son is playing nearby.

Between all this, I manage to get a few pages done a week. But it is a struggle some days to fiind the tiime and energy after working with kids all day and then coming home to one of my own.

Hope this helps.
