Color changes

I apologize b/c I know this has probably beed addressed about ahundred other times...so any help on this (including just pointing me to some previous post) will be really appreciated.

Just wanted to check on if it was possible to change the color of an element if I buy it from the online store (i.e. i buy a pack of ribbons that are shades of blue can I change them to purple).

Thanks a bunch....

Yes, I believe you are using PSP right?
Adjust/Hue & Saturation.
Also if you use the search field at the top of the pages here at SBB and type in colorize elements you should be able to find a lot of posts to help answer your question.. ;o)

PSP has the "color replacer" tool which I like and there is "change to target" in addition to what Tracey mentioned if you haven't bumped into those already. Have fun.

Great..thanks! I really appreciate it. I read so many different tips and tricks in these forums, it's so hard to keep them all straight when you are first starting out.

what specifically are you tyring to change the color of? The hue/sat is usually the best option, but there are many ways to change colors depending on the object and the effect you want
