baby scrapbook

Any suggestions for things to put in a baby's scrapbook?

I made a cover and a family tree page. I'm going to make some pages with ultrasound pictures and I'm thinking about making a "sibling" page with the cat's pictures and perhaps a title saying something like "we love you even though you don't have a tail".

I'd like to get the general layout of some pages before the baby's birth while I have time. This will be the baby book and scrapbook, I'm not using a store book in addition. any suggestions for pages & content?

I'm having my first baby, a girl. I saw paper with bright almost neon colors. Some with flowers and some with bubbles. I'm going to use that for my backgrounds. I'm not into the typical frilly stuff that is often used for baby girls, but I still want it feminine.

Hi there

How about including a page about your pregnancy, belly pics, cravings, etc. You could also include a page about her name, what it means, why you chose it.

Congratulations, btw

When I made a preformated paper scrapbook for DS - one of my favorite pages is the one "the world around me" I had pictures of our house, cars, his basinette - and then the opposite page had the following facts News of the Day; Popular Entertainment; Songs; Movies of the year; Big names in sports; TV shows; books; Fads-crazes-phrases; what thing's cost including me! I'm looking at it now and what fun and my how things change! Enjoy!

Along with what Laura said....I did a series of belly pics for my daughter's book. Once I started showing I did a pic at the same time every month in about the same pose so you could see how dramatically I changed from month to month....all culmination with a picture of her right after she was born.

I'd suggest a list of firsts with places for you to put in the dates. IE: First food, first step, first tooth...

This is really nice to have.

One thing I've done is this: every month for the first year I took a photo of Nick and Olivia with the same exact things. Nick had a huge Huggies bear, I just propped him against it until he could sit by himself. I also used a bear I alread had named Nicholas. Olivia had a big pink bear and two smaller pink bears of mine that she eventually started chewing on and throwing around. I did it on the same day (their birthday) every month. It's really neat to see how much they grow in that month. You just don't realize it when you look at them everyday. For Olivia, I also did kind of a theme with her clothing. In July I put on her 4th outfit. For February she wore her Valentine's dress and so on. I haven't actually scrapped a single one of these pics. LOL Really ought to do that!
