Paper sets

What are 'paper sets', are these different from digital kits?

Typically the term "paper set" means that all there is in that kit are papers and probably just background papers (not photo mats etc). So there are no co-ordinated elements to go with the papers.

In a lot of the stores, the designers will tell you exactly what is included in the kit (e.g. 5 BG papers, 10 eyelets etc.)

paper packs are growing more and more popular as many digital scrappers move to a more graphic style of scrapping. Many of the designers offer element packs to go with the paper packs filled with ribbons and other embellishments for those scrappers who love to fill their pages.

I didn't get the appeal of paper packs when I first started, now I like them more and more.
