I am New - A few questions

Hi Guys

I am after a little help after just purchasing PSE 3.

I have downloaded some extra tags from a ladies thread on this site.

How do I separate my digiscrap items, elements, paper etc and my actual photos. Is it just a matter of using tags or would I start a collection called digiscrap. Do all the tags both mine and the ones I uploaded just carry over to both or can you have two different types. Mine in my photos and the scrap type ones in scrap section.

I hope someone understands my ramble. I am just not sure what to do and want to start off with a good setup.

So can I make a section for photos and one for scrapbook elements or is it a case of just using tags. I am thinking two collections.

Thanks.

I don't use PSE, so I don't have the luxury of tags. However, I have folders, and folders within folders. For instance, in my photos folder, I have folders for each set (Christmas 2004, Memorial Day 2005, Pool Fun June 05, Fair 2005, and so on). In my scrapbook downloads folder, I have folders for each kit designer (and folders within each of those folders for the individual kits). For instance, Jen Wilson's folder has a folder called Playroom for that particular kit, a folder for a freebie she gave away and so forth).

Everyone has different methods of organizing their items.

Does this answer your question?
