file quality

When I'm saving my images (jpgs and png) for a kit I've made, what quality is preferable? They're all 300dpi but I'm assuming I don't need to save all of them at 12/max quality. 10? 8? I don't want to go too low but don't want the files bigger than they have to be. Designers - what do you use?

TIA!!

I use 12 in my "for sale" kits, but 10 or 8 in my free ones. 12 creates bigger files for sure, but I figure I want to sell the best quality You can always split your kit up to several smaller zip -files!

Of course. I didn't even think of that! I have 17 papers (including two overlays) so that could be a folder itself. And then elements in another and alphas in another. Thanks.
