HELP-vellum Hell!

I'm trying to make my son's christening invites from a kit that I bought. I'm trying to print on vellum-size 4.5x.7.5 and every time I run the vellum thru the printer, it pulls it down and gets stuck!!! Please help! I need to get these done and I'm SO frustrated!

I can't help unfortunately, but am sending you lots of wishes for good luck! Maybe you could run out to your LSS and buy some letter sized vellum to print on and then cut them down? That way you won't be in panic if you run out of the vellum that came with the kit and maybe the bigger size won't have printer problems...

Are you running it through by the long edge or the short edge?

I used vellum for invites to a wedding once. I did have to use full sheets and cut them down. They still jammed sometimes, but I think less so. It also seemed to help to take breaks. I am not sure if it was the printer's heat, but I did a couple at a time instead of a bunch in a row and that helped with my printer.

I have used vellum a lot and have not had that problem. I always use full sheets and cut them down..yeah it makes waste but it works. I also feed only one at a time through the printer. I never stack them in multiples. Hope this helps.
