Another Newbie: ME!!

Hello all!
I am so glad a friend told me about this site! I am a huge fan of scrapbooking and am always looking for new ways to create pages. I do some digital, some normal, and have just started getting into making "paper lunch sack books".
The digital is new to me, but I hope to catch on soon!
Thanks for a great site! My DH says I need to quit staying on this website so much! LOL
Thanks again!

We're glad you found us! And tell your DH you could be hanging out in worse places. If you have any questions about your software or scrapping techniques, don't hestitate to ask.

I do have a question

My Paint shop pro 8 uses so much ram that it runs so slow.....Is there anyway to speed this up? Or do I need to go out and buy more ram. Maybe someone knows a quick fix for it...I would appreciate it!
Thanks!
MIsty

I'm not a PSP user so I don't have any inside advice. I did ask a DTMer who does use PSP to stop by and look at your question.

Welcome to the Group!!

About your PSP question..
The only real fix for the slow PSP is to get more ram.. I just upgraded to 256 but alot of ppl here have 1 gig. It made a big difference for me..
Also make sure your LO is in pixels per inch, not pixels per cm.. I was told that makes a difference as well..

Check out the PSP thread.. you'll find tonnes of info in there

HTH and have fun..

I have a 256 in my computer now. I got so frustrated that I went ahead and called the computer geeks here in town. They told me to run a spyware and adware program. I did and found 113 infected files!! I deleted the files and ran PSP....you will never believe this one!!!
IT RUNS GREAT!!!
It is so quick now! I couldn't believe it was that simple!
If any of you want the download sites for these programs, let me know I will be happy to send them to you! They worked for me! I still can't believe how my computer was infected. I have a firewall up and an antivirus set to strict! It's crazy how people can get into your computer now a days and mess things up!
Thanks for all the advice and happy scrappin'

Misty
