I have recently downloaded many kits...but as a very-beginner, i have no idea how to transfer the files from file to Adobe/Photoshop program....and then how to access them from there. Love some help! Thank You. CM

If you're really talking about loading and using brushes as you said in your title, check out this tutorial on brush basics

If you're just trying to get your LO started and get your background, photos and elements into your LO, I just create a new document, open the elements and photos I want to use, then with the move tool active I drag the elements and photos into my LO.
