thread a tag

How do I thread a tag on photoshop7. I tried using a brush and then deleting the area I don't want, but the front of my tag gets deleted.Can anyone help???

And it sounds like you have the tag layer active and not the fiber layer.

by fibre layer Stacey meant the layer(in PS) with the ribbon/fibre/string or whatever it is that you want to thread thru your tag...

how do I???????

How do I make a fibre layer? One that looks like string?I tried the tutorial but I got bit mixed up after the layer mask. How do I like my layer window?

The easiest way to "make" a fiber layer is copy a premade fiber into your LO. You can also use brushes to draw a fiber then add a bevel to it to make it look more realistic, but that may be more advanced than you want to try.

If you're having trouble with the PS and layer masks you could try out this PSE tutorial that should work in PS without a problem.
