Not strictly a scrapping question but I am hoping with all the creativity here - I will find some answers/inspriation.

I am hoping to hold Pirate party for my son's second birthday. I would like to put together some special invitations, including a map, and other items that inspire others to join the theme. Does anyone have any ideas on creating a perfect 'aged' map and some invitations? Any font suggestions would also be useful.

This is all I can help you with...but it has some really nice pirate fonts, and some good dingbats for pirates!!

There's an adorable treasure map by Emma Powell in the download freebies here... maybe you could incorporate that into your invitations, etc.

Also check out Family Fun's website www.familyfun.com. Near the top, there's a drop-down box titled "browse site by:" - one of the choices is "pirates" and there's tons of cute ideas there, including a cake.
