Hello... I'm realitivly new to the world of digital scrapbooking and I'm wondering how all of this works - the site ,( I mean) How do you join groups and interact with other scrappers? how do you become involved with challeneges ect.... I'm itching to jump in and use you all as motivation to get more Layouts done.

LOL, Raquita. For the challenges, there is no protocol to follow--just do one and post in the forum (only exception is the circle journals). In example, if you want to do the colour challenge, go to the forum, see what the challenge is, do a layout and then post that layout where the host has advised to post it. Instant involvement! For any specific questions about any given challenge, post in the forum for that challenge and I bet you get tons of responses. Another idea to check out is to come to one of the crop challenges. That is where people meet in a chat room and get an inspiration given by a host and then do a layout. That is a great way to meet people. To check out the crops, click "calendar" at the top. To go to a crop, click "chat room" at the time and follow the prompts.

Raquita, I invite you to attend my kit crop this Sunday, May 8, at 6 p.m. Eastern Time. Actually, you don't need an invitation to attend. Anyone can come. Just come to the Scrapbook-Bytes' chat room at that time, and I'll give you the link for a kit. Then, everyone makes a layout using one or more pieces from the kit and posts their layouts in the gallery. I usually give everyone six hours to post a layout. I'm a slow scrapper myself, and never did very well at speed crops. PM me if you have any questions.
