8X10 or 12X12

I have been doing my layouts in 8X10.. I do not have a printer that will print 12X12 prints.
I just bought my printer and it is a really good printer so getting a better printer is not an option.

It seems that everyone else does 12X12.. Do they sell books to put 8X10 layouts in?

I am really new to this so I am not sure..

Does anyone else make 8X10 layouts?

This is all a matter of personal preference. You can buy photo page protectors in 8x10 and put them into 3 ring or bound scrapbooks.

I make 8 by 10 layouts (landscape view) because I then have my layouts professional printed and bound into books, usually by MyPublisher, but sometimes by any of the other makers of photo books.

another option,

I creat in 12x12, but like you don.t have a large printer albeit,my printer is good.
So most of the time I print in 8x8 and put in 8x8 scrapbook. The 8x8 is a nice coffee table size. You can also put smaller pictures at the bottom of your layout since your paper is 8.5x11 and the cut them apart if you are concerned about wasteing that extra 2inches of paper

you can also take or send your files to a retail place and have them printed 12x12

I've printed 8x10s and put them in a 3 ring binder for China trip and needlepointed a cover for the binder with a gold dragon & pheonix. Since it took me so long to make the cover, the ready made 12x12 started to look much more appealing.

My niece who is getting married soon asked that her guest bring photos to put in their album so I printed a few of my favorite LO of times we spent on 6x6. When I picked them up, I liked them better than the 12x12. Now that my LCS started carrying 6x6 albums, I may print more of our heritage LO and make a complete album for her.

Since I've started 5 different 12x12 albums I'm going to finish them but I may start experimenting more with the 6x6 or 8x8.
