question about photoshop elements 3

My husband just bought me a copy of adobe photoshop elements 3. I have been paper scrapping for several years now, and would like to start digital scrapping. Is this a good program for a newbie like me to start out with? Will it do some of the cool pages that I see on this site. Thanks, Pat. I want to find out before I open it up. Thanks.

A lot of scrappers on this site use PSE3, including me. You'll be able to get plenty of cool effects and it's much less expensive than Photoshop.

Glad you found us.

PSE ROCKS! LOL I'm biased though. I use PSE3 and am very happy with it's abilities. It's only missing a few of the PS features that I would really like but I'm not willing to drop the extra $$$$ for PS yet.

So rip that box open, get PSE installed and start playing with it! If you have any questions please come in and post them. We love to help each other out. And don't forget to check out the PSE tutorials.

Sorry feeling a little over enthusiastic today.

Yep, I use PSE 3.0, and I know some of my favorite designers do, too! Welcome to SBB, you may never go back to paper!

Thank your dh! You are in for so much fun (and probably a little frustration--but you will get through it!)! Go back to Stacy's post and follow her instructions! There is so much help available if you have questions--don't hesitate to ask! Can't wait to see your work!
