Program that turns rubber stamps into clip art

Has a graphic program been developed that turns scans of rubber stamps into clip art that can be used for digi scrapping? Or--would someone like to invent one? LOL

I don't know of any program, but I have used my personal stamps and stamped them with black ink on white paper than extracted them and now I can fill in the stamp with any color I want using the paint bucket. I figured this was okay since I own the stamps and I would be using them for unlimited things anyway, I won't be selling them or giving them to others (except on gift cards or scrapbook pages).

LOL, Kay! I assume you're not having much luck with scanning in stamped images. Keep at it! I'm sure you'll figure something out.

Kay,
I have an idea but I don't have any rubber stamps. Send me a scan of one that is either on white or black paper and I will experiement. This will be fun.

it should be a 'piece of cake' if you are using Photoshop.

scan the stamped image, preferably a dark color on white.

select the "dark" design using the magic wand
select "inverse"
hit "clear" under EDIT

now, under EDIT, hit "DEFINE BRUSH PRESET" and give it a name.

PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks, girls, for your ideas. Actually I was asking for an advid rubber stamper who is a newbie at digi scrapping. I've not tried it myself but now I think I will.

That's nice of you to do for her. I have found that it is just not the same to stamp something on the computer as in real life, but it still can be fun. I hope she enjoys digi scrapping.
