I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly, but are you talking about a contact sheet, which you could print out and see thumbnail images of every item in a kit?

If so, then I know PSCS can do it. Go under File>Automate>Contact Sheet II and just fill in all the fields. It generates it automatically and is super simple.

HTH!

Indexing Digi Files

I use ThumbsPlus. It is independent of any graphic software and has a few editing tools and other cool features in it. It is great for cataloguing. Check it out at www.cerious.com. I'm using a free version - I hope it's still available - but I don't think it's very expensive to buy.

I'm so glad you posted this thread! I've been printing out pictures of whole kits to use as a reference. Never knew there was a concept of 'contact sheet'. I just tried it in Photoshop Elements and it's very easy: Go to "File" / "Print Layouts" / "Contact sheet"

Guess I know what I'll be doing today!
