Scrappers Block - HELP!!!!

Help! I'm completely frozen with scrppers block. This has never happened before, and I don't know how to overcome it. All of a sudden, I cannot come up with an idea for a layout to save my life.

Advice please for any other scappers out there who have hit the same wall and been able to overcome it.

I've never really used page kits before, and I thought downloading and purchasing some that I really liked would help, but that hasn't helped either.

WHAT DO I DO!!!!!!!!!

Do you have any favorite layouts bookmarked? Or any magazines? I always find that a good scraplift helps to cure my blocks! Although I feel a bit guilty...but I get over that after I pull off a nice layout! Hope that helps! Dont worry, you will be back in the groove soon!

I love to look at other people's layouts. There are so many wonderful ones in the gallery. This helps me get ideas. Good luck

I'm having the feeling that looking at other's layouts is a little bit of the issue. Maybe others have this issue too.... I guess I can replicate other things that I see, but if I sit down and try to generate something original, I completely flake out.

I see so many LOs on this site that are AMAZING. Copying them feels kinda cheep in a way, but original thought eludes me.

I am officially in a FUNK!

Try some challenges. They really help you try things you wouldn't normally do.

I find the best cure for scrappers block is to give yourself permission to go do something else for awhile. Take a walk, buy a new book, go window shopping.

I don't think that scraplifting is in anyway a cop out. I think you could look to someones layout for a great idea and then make it your own.. or do the exact same thing as they did...your creative juices might just start flowing again while working through the process.

Maybe go out and take a bunch of new photos.. maybe something there will peak your interest.

I think one thing that always helps me is to go and search the challenge file and use one of the sketches or ads to create a layout off of.

Good luck, I know I have barely done any scrapping this year thus far.... but starting out with a neat challenge got me back into the swing of things.
