Hidden Journalling?

For everyone or anyone that can help. Paper scrappers can make hidden journals or pull down sections in their layouts, is there any way that a computer scrapper can do the same thing? Just being curious...lol...

Im thinking maybe it might have to be done is PSP but would love to know if it can be done is PS.

Thanks heaps.

Julie

Ya know, I was thinking about this the other day. There are certainly ways to do it...but I haven't worked with animations before. I know you can make animations in PS7 though. I'm sure there would be ways to do it via java too.

Darnit...I knew I should have been a programmer.

Maybe once I get a firm grip on PS7 I'll start playing with animations. I just hope people wouldn't need a special viewer or anything to see it work.

Great question!

of course if you print them out, you could just design the pocket, or pull tag, or whatever then cut a slit in the page and have the journaling actually pull out! if you're printing them anyway. Ü

i don't know if this would work with a slideshow program- but you can make hidden journaling .

http://home.mchsi.com/~mydnyghtwhyspers/anihidden.gif

this is what i did really quick, using photoshop and adobe image ready.

a really simply animation, just the hidden journaling open and closed, but you could make it as complicated as you wanted, i guess. what i did was...

created the 'closed' file first in photoshop. and then saved it. then i made the 'open' file second and saved it. i animated the frames in adobe image ready.

Tracey thank you so very much for your information. I copied your journal to test it in Flip Album Pro 5 and if you play the file it works fine..But I haven't burnt toa disk and tried to play on a dvd yet so I am not sure if it works that way. But what I will do is get Neville to play a burnt disk on his computer and see if it works that way. Will let you know the results. Thanks so much for your information...
