Question probably heard it a 1,000 times but.......

Hello! My name is Melleny and help is what I need....BAD. I have made LO's and I have put all my elements and stuff away in the DIP library. SO PROUD. However, I have very poor vision and absolutely no depth perception at all. My questions are....

1. I have a 17" monitor and am making 12x12 LO's and never plan on printing only making slide shows for the t.v. How do I know that I am making the pictures the right size? I mean they look so little. Is there a setting that will let me look at everything in real life size? It is very confusing because the 12" ruler on the side and top aren't really 12". STOP LAUGHING I CAN'T HELP IT IF I'M SPECIAL.

2. I would love to become a member here and read that it is $15 a year. What all does that include?

3. If I were to show some of the LO's I have made but, stupidly unpacked all kits and seperated them into different folders, how do I give credit and not step on anyone's toes?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME
THANK YOU AHEAD OF TIME FOR HELPING ME

Hi Melleny, Glad you asked!! This was just asked by Candiflip just a few posts below yours. I know those rulers are really had to judge when they strech and shrink!! hehe
I ran into this also and I just wanted to know what was the actuall viewing size on my screen!! But I guess that's only a close guess!!

Becoming a member for $15.00 gives you access to pages and pages of free downloads for scrappin' it is so totally worth it and you also can select to download or recieve by mail a Membership CD with kits and elements on it also.

As far as how to credit the right makers of their stuff after you took them all apart, I cno't know..hehe...I have folders and folders from the designers and I left them all together since in the beginning I didn't keep track very well of who made what!!
Some others will help you out also on this one!!

HTH

Are you just planning on viewing the layout in your editing software? In that case, just zoom in until it's a size you like that fills up your monitor. If DIP has a Full Screen viewing, you can zoom in and then go into Full Screen and just look at them like that.

Dunno about the membership: I'm a freak and have to make all my own stuff. Is it pride? Is it creative expression? Doesn't matter, it's a real illness, LOL! I don't care if I get my photos scrapped, I just like making artwork, my own artwork...

For organizing files, try the free program from www.picasa.com You can sort things into folder by Designer to make it easier to know whom to credit, then you can put a keyword tag on things so you can view by eyelet, metal, ribbon, wordart, baby, pink, blue, etc and STILL know who made the stuff!
