Help I'm new here and I don't understand something -- please help!!!!

Hi, I'm new here. I just found out about this site last night. I thought I could easily download some files and that would be that but I was wrong. I would like to print some of these elements/backgrounds out and use them for making cards but I obviously don't know how. I downloaded them and then unzipped them. Then I went to Word and I can't find them. Am I a complete dummy or what??? Is it possible to just print some of these elements out and use or do I have to use them in a computer program such as photoshop elements (which I do have)? Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'm sorry I have to ask such silly questions. LOL

If you have PSE, you have everything you need to get started computer scrapping.

Using Elements, open the files you downloaded and jump in with both feet.

Don't get discouraged! In no time, you'll be posting beautiful layouts.

nice to see you here!

If you want to print them up in Word, go up to Insert > Picture > From File...then go to the folder to where they were unzipped to and insert it. Then just print! Sorry if you've already tried this...not sure if you did though.

Also, if all you want to do is print, you can byp*** Word altogether and go directly to the folder where the image is saved, then open the image by double clicking it, then print from there.

And, if all else fails, it's just as easy to open it up in your photo editing software and do it there as well
