You can make your own avatar from a photograph by cropping to a square and shrinking the image to 125x125pixels. Add text and save. Come back to SBB and click on User CP > Edit avatar and upload your avatar from your computer. Or try Illustmaker for a computer generated portrait. Or for a custom avatar, Google 'avatar chick'
