Hi Wendy and WELCOME

What type of programs do you use now, if any?

You will get a lot of comments on programs, they are all good! But you have your die hard fans that love their own programs, like me!!

It really just boils down to what you learn in a program, what makes it rock for you. PSP9 is great for digital photo restoration and clean up, it has Digital Camera Noise Removal which is a huge bonus and it works great once you get good at it!!
I just posted a one sided comment on another post and I don't dare do it again....
totally brand new, software question?

I do own PSE3 also, I just have used PSP longer so it makes more sense to me and I can do things in it quicker then I can PSE3...

Hi Wendy, I'm also in Nova Scotia!! :O)

Welcome to this awesome site...there are so many cool, creative, friendly, helpful, etc...hehe...digi-scrappin artists here....

I use Photoshop..but after 3 years I'm still learning. There are tons of tutorials here at SBB and out there in the WWW. If you need help with a technique, there are oodles of people who respond and try to help. If you sign up for a membership, you will have access to tons of awesome elements and papers for use in your layouts...just remember to give credit.

I cruise the gallery to see the fabulous layouts daily, and if I see one I like, I add it to my favorites...soon you will see that you're attracted to a particular artist (s) style, and you'll be inspired to try your own. Read the posts in the forums relating to your specific program too for hints and tips! Actually read as many categories as possible, you'll soon find out what a great place this is.

There is a beginners 'bible' for digi-scrapping created by Miss Tanya I believe......but I can't seem to find teh link in the forums...maybe some other do-bee will post it here for you.....good luck and more importantly, have a blast!!

Cheers,
Denise
