Help!! What kits to buy?

Hi girls, maybe you can help me. My Gramma gave me $20 for x-mas and I'd like to buy some kits (so far I've just used freebies). Problem is my indecisiveness. I don't know how to pick some kits, everything is so beautiful and there is so much available! How do you chose? Any input would be greatly appreciated - happy scrapping!

Help!! What kits to buy?

I would choose the photos I wanted to scrap and then buy kits based on what will go with your photos or themes for the pages you want to do. Another thought is to use the money to buy a good "all around" CD. There are some great ones out there.

Go for a CD collection. This gives you the most bang for your buck. Also, if you are not very confident in mixing and matching elements from different kits, chose a kit that comes with many many different elements.
If you have a lot of pictures of a particular theme (i.e. christmas or wedding) then purchase a kit for that theme, otherwise go with something generic that you can "re-use."
