I am still learning so how do you make a pretty ribbon in phoyoshop 7 Shannon

Hi Shannon. I don't use photoshop, but I have photoshop elements. There are a couple of ways to make your own ribbon. One way is to scan it or take a digital photo and then extract the ribbon or bow from the photo. (Extract means to use the magnetic lasso tool and/or sort of erase the rest of the photo, leaving the ribbon.) Another way is to make a 12 inch wide rectangle, apply a texture to it by using the texture tool or by using a texture photo overlay, and adding a slight bevel or shadow to make it look more 3d. in photoshop 7, i use a texture emboss in the layer style palette. you can load different textures to see which one fits best. i have the best luck with "woven" in the "pattern" submenu...
