PSP X2

I see that PSPX2 has dropped down in price, so I was wondering if Corel is planning on releasing X3 in the near future? Just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

I didn't purchase 11 or 12.

My fav is probably version 9. If X3 is coming soon, I will probably wait. (I do have version 10.)

I just purchased PS CS2 because there are so many actions you can purchase.

My heart will probably stay with Paint Shop Pro, however.

I haven't heard or read of it coming out yet but I would assume it is close. Hopefully they gear it back towards the digital community and away from a photo alteration program.

About a year ago I purchased PSCS3 and have been doing the tutorials on Lynda.com.
I find that if I don't keep using PS every week, I tend to forget how to do things, and have to go back and reread my notes or look at the tutorial again.
My last PSP program was X, and I find that I can go back after several months and still remember how to do things.
I'm really trying to only use PSCS3, but sometimes when I'm in a hurry, I go back to good ol PSP.

LOL ain't that the truth! I do not find the menu structure of CS's as intuitive and user friendly as what PSP's menu's are to me. Of course my PSP is totally customized to suit my needs and I can't hardly use a default PSP workspace without a lot of digging around in the menu's either!

I know that problem sooo well, unfortunately. I am trying to get the hang of PSP X2 and have to keep retracing my steps.

PSP is way underrated and underused. There are soooooooooooooooo many things that can be done, but most tutorials, or even help files, dont get close to show all it can do. I am still using PSP9, since several years, and i still discover things i can do, ways to use the actual functions and tools of the program. I have over 100 plugins, but 99.9% of the time, i dont use them. I have too much fun with the inherent tools and functions of the program itself. That is what lead me to make scripts, and tutorials (sorry, they are not publicly available) for my yahoo group.
