Watermark text

Hello, how do I add a text watermark to an image?

I used the "Visible Watermark" option but the image always has an outline and I cant achieve the effect I want.

Whenever I add the text image using the Watermark option, the square outline of the image I add is clearly visible.

I have attached an example of exactly how I want the effect to appear.

Thank you very much for your time.

Is the image on this link what you are looking for? If it is you can download this script for free and alter the text that you wish to be on your image.

Or maybe this one instead you can make these watermarks more invisiable by lowering the opacity of the layer they are on.

or try: add your text as "selection", then add a drop shadow (pick a dark or light colour) at maybe 0,0,100,50 (very large blur). You can adjust the opacity of the layer to suit...

Thanks Lizzerd, I totally misread what was wanted. I thought the screen post was what they didn't want the dark outlines.

I have never used the digimarc Watermark nor bought it because at $79.00 for 1000 images wouldn't do me much good.

Bape when you come back could you please explain it a little bit and how you like it? I can't even find a place to register, do you have to buy it first?
I see there is a free plugin but it stills asks for a registration name when I try to apply it.
TIA

Thanks so much for the script.

It works perfectly for me.

I dont really know what you mean by registration.

I open an image in Corel Paint Shop Pro, double click on the script, and everything works.

Thanks again.
