Unhappy Hoping someone can help?

I have been working with PSP for quite a few years and my latest is PSPX2. Things are going just great and all of a sudden today- my color/materials palette is GONE! I mean GONE! I have tried and tred to find that thing and am at my wits end!

First of all of course, I made sure it was clicked in the palettes drop down- it IS on as far as it shows?

I have tried CTL/SHIFT/T... *everything* comes back- but NOT the materials palette!

Any thoughts on this?? I am SO FRUSTRATED I'm ready to cry

Thank you in advance!

Ok try this!

File>Preferences>Reset Preferences a dialog box comes up check the last box that says;
"Make all toolbars/Palettes visible and on screen" click ok and see if that brings it back to the front.

Another thing is do you have the patches for X2, I remember reading somewhere that the first version allows certain palettes to get buried in the background of PSP.

Oh...That's no fun! I hope you figure out where it went. I don't use psp so can't help. Tracey on the other hand is the Queen of psp.

Did you happen to save a custom Workspace for X2 yet? Try loading that one.

If you didn't you should be able to load the default one BUT watch for this dialog box;

Load Workspace
Loading a workspace will cause any current workspace modifications to be lost. Do you wish to save the current workspace?

CLICK NO or it will save over the default workspace with the materials palette in the WRONG spot.

Any customization you might have done to your toolbars and palettes will be gone also and you will have to start over if you hadn't saved your own workspace.
