yeah that much text is a killer since
PSP is a imaging program and not a text editor.
floaating text: makes text the colors selected in the materials palette and it will float on your layer until you click your mouse, it will not be on a layer of it's own.
Selection text is marching ants around what would be your words, it is not filled with any color and unless you do fill them, these marching ants will disappear when you click your mouse and you will be left with nothing.
Vector text is usually the best for every situation, it creastes a new text layer for you all the time, since it is vector you can resize your words and they will not become pixelated. I use vector text 99% of the time.
