I bumped into this site. It has a chart on the page that explains how much to increase your canvas. So I changed my 5 x 7 which would've been 1500 x 2100 to 1524 x 2138.
The place I print has the Fuji Frontier 330.

I printed using the recommendations and got a tiny little bit of white along the part of the top left side and down the entire right side. Assume that's the paper shift they mentioned in the article.
While I had a two inch rectangle that went the entire width of my page, I printed a second one...where I increased the canvas...filled it with black my background layer...and also increased my rectangle the entire width. While it wasn't aligned as perfectly as the recommended way, but I didn't get any white this way, because of course, I filled with black.
Look forward to hearing what you find out.
