Machine Wash used with PSP?

I heard a lot about the Machine Wash filter that is for PS, but unlike other plugins that work also on PSP, i read that this one is more like an action than a "standard" filter. Reading some more in old threads everywhere, i noticed that basically, they are some kind of masks and therefore, could be used (as masks and not actions) in PSP.

Can someone tell me if that is the case? if it works? and if it is worth getting for that? My husband has PS but i never use it. Would it be worth getting even if trying to use his PS for that purpose only?

Thanks

Cassel

I don't have the machine wash filter and it has been ages since I even looked at their site to see what the results look like.
But I think you're right from what I remember reading that it has items like masks or overlays.
Not much help huh!

It runs with an action and uses PDF files as the masks - so I am not sure if you could convert the PDF's for use in PSP - maybe email them and see what they say?
