making a gold effect metal in PSP

have followed a tutorial here and was pleased with the tag and the silver metal rim but how can i make a gold edged one, tried the only thing i could think of which was to colourise but it did not look good.
any help appreicated

I guess you use the photoshop elements.I'm not sure,but in photoshop CS just try to use Hue/Saturation settings,and change the color to yellow...I hope girls will help you soon

Hi Susannah,

If you are talking about this tutorial
Instead of making the outer stroke that gray color, make it a white stroke instead. Then use the setting for Inner bevel as it shows but instead of using white in the color box. Choose a goldish color that you want instead. Don't forget to play around and adjust the settings in the Inner Bevel effect as you can get your tag to have many different styles of metal rims. Also play with the light control settings to adjust the brightness or darkness of the effect.
Personally I wouldn't start out creating my tag with both the inner and outer ring on the same layer. I would create a circle with a stroke and turn of the inner color on one layer and then create the inside area of the tag on another layer. That way if you ever want to change it later it is a lot easier to do.
