I would like to ask for some help. I am trying to open up images that have the .ai extension. I am currently using PSP7 and am getting the error message cannot open up the files. The images were created using Adobe Illustrator, the Mac version.

Am I doing something wrong, or can these images not be opened?

Need help badly, thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about PSP7 but I do know that PSP XI will not open .AI files... not sure why since it is able to open other vector based formats but indeed it will not.

Just read about this in our tech section of the
paper this morning! There is a site you can go
to that will convert file extensions so that you
can open them in your program. Don't know how
it works since I haven't used it yet, but here is

the .ai format is not supported for media-convert... that is a good idea though - so....

I would download a trial version of coreldraw or your favorite vector software, import the .ai and convert it to something that PSP can read like eps....
