How do I take a square picture and make into a perfect circle in PSP X?

Hi again,

I have a background paper of polka dots and want the picture I ultimately paste onto it to be perfectly round.

How do I do this?

Hi please see your other post, I think I answered the question.
But to get a circle, change your selection shape to circle instead of rectangle or whatever it is set to now!

Are you using your shape tool instead of your selection tool? You shouldn't get any white border at all using the selection tool, but you will if you are using the shape tool...however you can adjust the width of your outline on your shape tool so that it doesn't have a outline either...

It almost sounds like you need some basic tutorials for using PSP and the tools. Here is a great site just to get your feet wet reading through the tutorials and playing along with them until you learn how the tools, effects, layers, palettes work for PSP.
This site is great and has general information tutorials that cover all aspects of learning everything PSP.

You are both so welcome. I still use that site almost weekly just as a refresher.
I have to submit more of our (PSP-SBB) tutorials to the scrapbooking area of that site also!
