How to colorize an image pink?

Can anyone advise how to colorize an image pink?

I'd like to make a full colour image only shades of pink. I tried using the colors>colorize option, but the closest I got was purple.

The first thing that comes to mind is to go adjust -> hue and saturation -> colorize, and drag the two sliders to pink, the shade that you like, or create a new raster layer, fill with a bucket of pink you desire, and play with blending mode. Or pm me a small image of the photo in question if you like and the closest choice of pink you'd like it to be, I will play with it, and when I come up with solution I will send you a step by step for you to try on the full size image... Just a thought

Hello,

There are so many ways to colorize a photo in PSP.

First I would turn the image greyscale and then increase the color depth again to 8 bits. This way all your color choices will become available to you. And your photo will all over color to tones of pink more consistantly.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to recolor:
Manual Color Correction
These two are tools in the toolbar:
Change to Target
Saturation up/down

Here is a Change to Target video tutorial, it takes awhile to load however.

And a few more PSP tut's here.

Sorry Olga I was typing as you posted!

Thanks for the excellent advise. Change to target is very cool, but I'm using PSP v7.04 say I'm not sure if I have that option.

I think the problem now is not so much how to achieve as my own perception as to what is pink lol.

For example, I'd say #FFBFEF is pink, but I'm thinking what I have achieved so far is more like purple...? Image attached so you can see - do you think that's pink?

Thanks again.
