Pop Art

Hi All,

I am wondering if you can help. I would like to do a pop art style picture with black detail and another color. I did the cat example on the website with an old psp script and the other popart example is ones I would like to know how to do.

Questions:

1. Does anyone know where this script might be that I used for the kitty?

2. Does anyone have any ideas or tutorials on how to do the other effects??

Thanks in advance,

Laurie

Hi, I am sure you will have an answer from somebody who knows how to do it pro style, I am just an amateur, but to create the kitty style picture I usually do the brightness -> threshold something to the tune of 150 - sometimes even closer to 200 but will depend on the original. and then colour replacer does the job of changing the parts of the photo to desirable colours. I use PSP X but the LO I did for somebody before I used PSP 8
http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...?photo=110364m I seem to remember for PSP 8 I used to have a useful feature on changing the colourschemes on the photo, and "throwing the dice" and looking at different effects was easy, but haven't discovered the same facility in the PSP X yet Hope it helps you though!

I believe that there is a Andy Warhol plug-in out there somewhere and would do a image like on the faces image.
I don't think it was a script but I could be wrong and now for the life I me I can't find the plug-in again either!!

Thanks for the info Olga and Haley. The threshold setting is very handy in this kind of work. I found a tutorial and also started playing with settings. Here are some of my experiments.
