Here are tons of tuts on the internet for pop art. A few months ago I googled some because I was making somthing like that. I'm on my way to work, so don't have time to search, but are at least a couple: http://www.ephotozine.com/techniques....cfm?recid=365

Thought I would post the most recent attempts. I like the last 4 the best.

How bout an opinion? Do you think if I had some of the pieces printed on gallery canvas that people at say, an art show might want to buy them. The ones that I think are for sure are ones like the shoe and the great dane, maybe other animals or objects, etc. But, what do you think of the 1st one in line 3? That's my daughter, but I think she is a classic beauty, do you think people who like popart might buy that one?

Thanks,

Laurie

Laurie, you are doing great with these and I can tell you are having fun also!! I am not a huge fan of pop art, but I don't see why people who adore it wouldn't buy them!! You're right that one of your daughter is wonderful!!

Thank you Doris for the tuts. Thanks Haley for the compliments.

I had a fabric artist on another site say she loved the shoe and would use it as fabric, making the shoe shiny. Now that's interesting.

I'm scrambling to try to find something freelance to make money, I got laid off and am hoping to go to school, but I've got to make some money at the same time. So, ideas are swimming around in my head. If anyone has any suggestions, please don't hesitate to share.

Laurie
