Convert to line

Help!! (Please) I use PSP 9. I have never been able to use the command Convert to Line. Everytime I draw a vector shape and right click on a node and go to node type, all of the commands are greyed out. Always!!! I am trying to follow the tutorial for a patachwork flower. I love it. However, I can't get past the second step. Is there something I should be doing? When I click on the pen tool, should I apply? Is there some simple (I hope!!!) step that I have never known about? Thanks in advance for any help.

You just missed one small step that's all~ When you right click the first time on the node you need to select the Convert to path ~
then it will allow you to change the nodes ~ Here's a screenshot for you.
Hope this helps~

So glad I was able to help. It got me for quite a while too and I found it out by sheer frustration one day and clicking on that. LOL

Patchwork flower sounds like a neat tutorial. Could you share the link to it Debbie?
