Can I stop Batch Processes from Compressing jpegs like a Jerk?

When using a "resize" script for a batch process, the script runs fine and my batch is resized, BUT the pictures are way too compressed! It squishes 1200x800 photos down to a measly 150K! That looks so bad... is there any way to change the default compression for the saves that batch processes make?

In regular paint shop saves, my default/last used compression is factor 1 (lowest compression, highest quality.) So it isn't taking its orders from that.

I've tried recording a "trusted" script where I save the file at my preffered compression value, and then running a batch process on that... but that doesn't work. It still compresses my pictures to it's own mysterious tastes! Is there any way to change that?

Thank you very much for reading my question

Got it.

In the batch window, I had to select "New Type"/jpeg/options (I had "copy" selected previously, and there were no file options for that - it just did it's own thing.) The compression was set at 20%, and I was able to change that finally this way.
