Hello, First a couple more questions from you!! ;o)
You made these brushes yourself? From a tut?
Or you downloaded these brushes, what extension do they have ? .abr or .pspbrush, .pspscript?
Which version of PSP are you using?
Thanks

I tried to download a few and then make one myself (and export) but neither of them worked.
Two had abr. extension and one jbr.
I use PSP9.
I'm was really happy to see the tut' and to finally do something (once the problem is solved) with brushes.

Ok...now the older .abr files work in PSP. But now days most of the new ones out their are for PS.
.jbr brushes will work but if it is for an older version of PSP, yes you need to import custom brush.
If it was a brush that you made you shouldn't have a problem seeing it once you export as a Brush.
Let's start with your File/Preferences/File Locations, then on the left side find and click on your Brush file types.
On the right side where it has Brush File Folders do you see the path to the folder where you saved your brushes?
Ex: C:\Documents and Settings\Tracey\My Documents\My PSP Files\Brushes
I have three different locations on my computer that I want PSP to search for and list my brushes on my computer, so I have 3 file locations added.
Try this and see what you have and if your folder is not listed, click add and find the folder.
Then look and see if you can see your brush in your brush tools drop down box.
Another thing to remember is that brushes in PSP now have and need 2 parts in order to work. They are, example.pspbrush & example.pspscript, these both need to remain in the same folder or your brush will not work.
Let us know what you find out!!

I read your answer a few times and tried to follow it but things still don't work. not even with a brush I made. do I have to do someting with the script for a made brush as well? maybe that's wha's wrong...

Also, I tried to put the brush in a few locations/files but nothing changed.

Sharoni, sounds like you do not have the two parts of the brush together in the same folder!!

Try doing a search for the name of your brush and see if you can find both parts to it, when you find them put both of them in your C/My Documents/My PSP Files/Brushes

Tracey, thanks for your help. At the moment I still can not see the brushes, but maybe I'm just stuck and I'll get it later.
