Can you name layers in v8?

I saw a tutorial recently and one of the hints was naming layers, but for the life of me I can't figure it out!

On the Layer palette, right-click the name of the layer and choose Rename from the menu. Type the new layer name and press Enter. Hope that helps!

Yes.. it is in the help section of the software under layers - renaming. you can also just click the layer name in the layer pallete and type a new one.
