Question Text on a reverse path

Ugh! I'm about to tear my hair out!

I've been trying to get my text on the bottom of an elipse, but I cannot reverse the path on the node. I draw my elipse (vector), select the pen tool, right-click on the bottom node, and get nothing! Just grey-out options.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.

Thanks, but that was the tut I was following. I ended up doing it in PSP8, saving it, and opening it in PSP9. **sigh**

Hi Jackie, try this:

Choose your pen tool. Make sure you're on the vector layer containing your shape (or path). Right-click on your shape/path. Click on "Convert to Path." If you have a separate vector layer with your text already typed in, it will probably "straighten out" and no longer be part of the path. With the pen tool still enabled, right-click on the shape/path again and click on Edit then Reverse Path. Create a new vector layer and re-type your text. The path should now be reversed.

Hope this helps!
