Image sizing between applications... help..

I'm sure that this is something very simple, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.
Here's what I'm trying to do.

I have an image in PSP that I want to copy to PageMaker. The image in PSP is 3.5" by 4". When I paste it into PageMaker, it becomes a GIANT 11" x 11".

How do I work in the same image "size" between the two programs?

All help appreciated.

I have never worked in Page Maker, but it seems that the two programs have different resolution values set, PSP 300ppi and Page Maker at 72ppi...
Look and see if Page Maker can handle a 300/200 resolution.

Well, I checked my page setup in PageMaker and it's set to 300dpi..
So guess I'm back to square one...

Not really an answer to your question, but could you not just resize it back to the size you want after you paste into pagemaker? maybe a work-around to your problem if no real solution is found...

I tried that, but it doesn't look like the original when I do... Aspect ratio fouled up...
I just would really like to know why taking what PSP says is a 3.5 x 4 to PageMaker, and pasting it into a doc the same size doesn't work.
Really wondering which one is giving me the true size...
I think I'll do some experimenting by printing them both out and see what happens..

But thx for the replies....

What happens if you create a page in PageMaker 300dpi and then paste the image from PSP unto it?
Just curious because even though I have my PSP resolution set to 300, if I do a print screen and then paste into PSP that image is 72ppi...? Not my default 300...I know why it is because my screen resolution creates the 72ppi image...
Just a thought....

That's what I've been doing. My problem is the size not the DPI. Both apps are set to 300 dpi, but the image changes sizes dramatically when I take it from PSP into PM.
