File preferences/General/Palettes and the far to the right change the size of the Palette thumbnail to what works good for you.. ;o)
Thanks--I figured there would be a way to do it (hoped so anyway!!). Just didn't really look for how. Thanks for letting me know how to do it.

Played with the color options a bit and I *think* that it is better, but still not sure what I think yet.

I fired up my Photoshop Elements 2 and found the contact sheet option on that. I guess that was easy! I'm not into contact sheets, but yup, that's a big difference from PSP 9. If X is doing that now...cool for those of you that use it.

Well, I was going to download the trial...SINCE I STILL DIDN'T GET MY EMAIL!!!!...I'm on cable and it was taking forever, so I just cancelled it out. I'll just continue to complain and read the posts on the newgroup!

sniff, sniff....

The download took me about 10 minutes--I think? Maybe 8. I have cable and mine is pretty fast relative to other cable users. How long was it taking you? Maybe give it 20 min? Just walk away and do something else for a bit I guess. At least with cable, you tend not to lose the connection like with dial-up. I could NEVER download anything that took more than 2 or 3 minutes when I had dial-up. I would always get disconnected for some reason. Drove me up the wall!! I am spoiled with cable but I love it

Mine took about 30 minutes and I am on DSL!!! I believe it was about 140MB???
I took a shower and quick cleaned the house!!! ;o) Figured I wouldn't get either done once I installed the program!!! LOL

I'm looking forward to using Print contact sheets (which were available in PSP9!!! ) so I can place a hard print copy of the photo's I have burned to a CD for my kids, that way I know what is on them!!

Mmm, way back when I started digi scrapping I saved my layouts to CD and printed off a contact sheets (Browser open, File>Print method). Given that I was new to computing and PSP somebody here must have told me how to do it - I sure couldn't have worked that out for myself!

So, how come it never dawned on me that I knew how when others didn't! One of lifes mysteries I guess.

I'm watching this thread closely to see whether or not to upgrade - right now V9 is my baby and I don't want to part with it.

I don't see enough in X to run out and upgrade.. unless you need to have the latest of everything.

The download took me 5 minutes.. was pushing 320KBS.. I guess I'm blessed with a strong connection.

BTW.. there are some really good freeware programs out there to do things like creating thumbnails and contact sheets..

Personally.. I use Fotoslate from ACDsystems.. I can customize sheets and setup exact layouts so i don't waste any room on my paper. In addition, it has the best color management that I've found yet... even better than printing out of PSCS2. My colors match perfectly what's on my screen/camera and the photos come out with perfect color.

Anyway.. not freeware but highly recommend ti! Good lcuk!

I don't know what contact sheet are, but I was never able to resize/or print in PSP 8 or 9 because it never looked right. I always used PSE or PS.. But now with this PSP X it worked GREAT.. I can't not say GREAT enough!! for resizing & printing! I don't think i will ever have to open PSE again! I still use PS for RAW though, I like the bridge :P
