Everyone has great advise. The only thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is that after you apply your text you can always use the deform tool to tweek the size of the text. This usually works better for me than trying to guess before hand what size font will work in my journalling space.

About using Word - if you paste it as a layer, it does give a white background, but that is easy to eliminate with the magic wand, just select, select similar, and delete.

I haven't had the meta tag thing happen to me, but that might just be my version.

If it doesn't work for you, don't use it, I'm just saying that it works very well for me.

Hi Juliet, I am sorry if I implied that Word does not work for you. ;o(
I am interested however because when I tried to set any type of formatting in Word text and the copy and paste into the text dialog box in PSP, (then trying to get the text to wrap around an image..?) and if I have to backspace a line instead of only going back 1 or 2 spaces it totally moves the line all the way to the left again.
Do you know of a work around for this part?
Sincerely,
Tracey

If I type in Word, the lines wrap on their onw, and they do NOT wrap in PSP/PSE. I have to go put in all my Enters anyway.

Does PSPX have line wrapping now? Or spell checker? PS has both

Emma I can copy and paste into the text box in PSP9 from word and the enters are there. But if I need to back up line one space it moves the whole line back to the beginning...not just one space so yes if you don't get it right in Word you need to enter all your spaces in the text box.
