Hi,

Once you have what you want made into a tube go to File>Export>Picture Tube, this brings up a window which lets you set how you want the tube to "stamp out".

I'm confused... if you just want to add a layer with writing on it (so it is on its own layer), then just create a new layer and add the text.... The tube would be useful if you'd like to use this text as a "stamp" for future scrapping.. like if you create a cool text effect with HAPPY or something.. does this make sense? Good Luck!

but I want to make a paper with repetetive writing on it all over the sheet, so I thought that a tube would be a short cut. Is there another way without having to actually write the word over and over?

Select, copy and paste. Once you have a larger area filled you can repeat the select, copy and paste and it won't take so long to fill your page.

This is just one way, I am sure others will tell you how they do it.

Yup.. that's why I was confused.. the copy/paste method is the easiet way.. unless you want to reuse that same formatted text for use another time - then a brush/tube is nice to have around. Good luck!

Tubing

If you do your text on one layer with the word/s on it that you wish to fill your 'page with, just duplicate that layer however manytimes you think it will take to fill the page.

Then with your mover tool just move each layer to where you want it. This allows you to not only move it but also rotate the word if you want to.

Once you have done that hide all the other layers, merge all the text layers.

If you think you may want to use the same text again Copy/Paste as New Image and then export as pic tube or make a custom brush from the new image.
