hmm... why is everyone using 300dpi? 200dpi is more than enough for general printing.. unless you are printing on a typeset machine for magazines or going to be color seperating, 300 dpi is just a bit overkill.. I know space is becoming less and less of an issue.. but the difference in file size and memory usage for those with moderate hardware systems could make a huge difference in the many posts here about slow responses...

Check out this article and look at the charts provided.. they will show that 150dpi is more than sufficient for inkjet printing.
